How does your pricing work, and what is the $100?
The $100 is a diagnostic fee. It pays for an expert visit and a full diagnosis, and you pay it when you book so your spot is locked in. After your tech diagnoses the appliance, one of three things happens. A quick fix on the spot is $100 total and nothing more. A standard repair with the part on hand is $225 total, which is the $100 to book plus $125 when it's done. And anything that needs a special-order or specialized part gets an exact quote from our office that you approve before any work. You always see your real total, never a running meter.
Is there a separate trip charge or diagnostic fee?
The $100 is the diagnostic fee, and it is the only thing you pay to get us out. It covers the visit and a full diagnosis. There is no separate trip charge on top of it, and for a standard repair the $100 is simply the first payment toward your one flat repair price.
What if my repair needs a special part?
Some repairs need a special-order or specialized part, like a sealed compressor or a control board. When that happens, our office prices it and sends you an exact quote. Nothing moves forward until you approve it, and we book a second visit to do the repair. Your tech never guesses a price on the spot.
